Large UXO Survey

We recently completed a large UXO survey that was over 9km in length and was completed over a number of weeks. The drone enabled faster and more complete coverage of the area - unusually for the UK was had to worry about the drone overheating as some of the works were completed during the heatwave....

The area for the construction of an access road and bridge was flown using our MagDrone, a non intrusive detection tool. The data was then analysed by a geophysicist, using specialized software to identify potential UXO targets.

The use of drones for UXO surveys offeres several advantages over traditional methods. Drones can cover large areas quickly and efficiently, reducing the time and cost required for the survey. Also, the use of drones increases safety by reducing the need for personnel to be physically present in potentially hazardous areas.
